      On October 11th, Embassy’s staff visited NGO “Martuni’s Women Community Council”. The Supplementary Agreement signed allowing implement new activities corresponding to the project goals and ensuring effective implementation of the project.

      The Embassy consistently supports the improvement of road safety in Armenia and more and more organizations and companies are interested in road safety activities. On occasion of new academic year, Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Armenia for four years have been visiting various Armenian schools and share Lithuanian safe traffic practice. On September 4-6th various road safety events held in seven cities and villages throughout Armenia. Schoolchildren from Panik, Arevik, Gyumri, Gorayk, Saravan, Jermuk and Kechut received 850 backpacks along with reflectors and other road safety items. 

      The development cooperation project contributing to the improvement of security on the roads complements the activities of the Embassy during recent years in this field.
