25th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Relations between Lithuania and Armenia
The year 2016 marks the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Lithuania and Armenia.
The commemoration of Lithuania and Armenia diplomatic relations anniversary took the place in Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall (Yerevan) on 8th December 2016. The Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Armenia Erikas Petrikas greeted diplomats, officials of the Republic of Armenia, the representatives of business and cultural society, Lithuanian community.
Opera singer Deividas Staponkus (baritone) and his students Edgaras Davidovičius (tenor) and Kšištofas Bondarenko (bass), concertmaster Prof. Aušra Motuzienė performed classical music and songs of B. Dvarionas, A. Raudonikis and other Lithuanian and foreign composers, as well as Armenian folk song.
After the concert the guests were invited try Lithuanian food products.
Lithuania diplomatic relations with Armenia established on 21 November 1991.
