A gift to the Embassy on the occasion of 100 years of restored statehood

Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Armenia has received exclusive gift - namely, the photo of Marytė Kontrimaitė (1947 – 2016), famous Lithuanian poet, translator, Stasys Lozoraitis award winner, awarded “St. Grigor Narekatsi” medal and the honorary citizen of the Armenian city of Gyumri. The photo was taken at the Lithuanian Embassy in Yerevan, during Marytė Kontrimaitė last visit to Armenia in April 2015.

The author of the photo is the famous Armenian photo artist Tatev Mtaskakanian, who for many years has captured photos of famous people of the world in her series of photography art works "Human Art Dialogue".
