Ambassador met the RA NA Deputy Speaker

On January 15 the Ambassador Erikas Petrikas had a meeting with the RA NA Deputy Speaker, Head of the Armenia-Lithuania Parliamentary Friendship Group Eduard Sharmazanov. Ambassador Erikas Petrikas on behalf of him and the Republic of Lithuania displayed deep sympathy for the horrible tragedy recently occurred in Gyumri that took many innocent lives.

His Excellency expressed condolences and support to the people of Gyumri and all Armenia in connection with the tragic events on 12 January.

Political, economic, cultural issues, as well as those relating to the parliamentary ties between the two countries were discussed. The Ambassador conveyed the invitation to visit to the Republic of Lithuania by Ms Dalia Mikutienenė, the Head of the Lithuania-Armenia Interparliamentary Group, to the NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov.
