Delegation from Lithuanian town of Visaginas paid a visit to Armenia
On 13-15 June, the delegation from Lithuanian town of Visaginas, led by the Mayor of Visaginas Erlandas Galaguz, paid a visit to Armenia. During the visit, Mayor of Armavir Davit Khudatyan and Mayor of Visaginas signed a memorandum of cooperation, officially starting the friendship between the two cities. The cooperation is envisaged in the fields of education, business, culture, sports and innovation.
During the visit, the Delegation also met with the governor of Armavir marz Edward Hovhannisyan, visited the House of Culture of Armavir, where an exhibition and a concert was organized. In Yerevan, the Delegation also visited the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and TUMO Center for Creative Technologies.
