Guardian angel of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is covered with Armenian flag, as the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) comes into force.
“Lithuania has always been enthusiastic about stronger links between Armenia and the rest of Europe. We were among the first EU Member States to ratify the CEPA. This adds to the fact that Lithuania was the first country in the world to recognize Armenia's independence 30 years ago.
CEPA can bring Armenian society higher standards of democracy and the rule of law, greener environment, better business opportunities, as well as more choice in education and research. Furthermore, it contributes to deepening in our relationship”, Lithuania’s Vice-Foreign Minister Arnoldas Pranckevičius said in a congratulatory address.
