February 16 in Armenia

February 16, 1918 the Council of Lithuania signed the Act of Independence of Lithuania proclaiming the restoration of an independent State of Lithuania, governed by democratic principles, with Vilnius as its capital.

Lithuanian Embassy staff members with their family together with the Lithuanian community in Armenia gathered together on 16 February to commemorate the 97the anniversary of this important date.
