Foreign Minister G. Landsbergis extends congratulations on the 30th anniversary of Armenia's Independence
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis sent a letter to the Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, congratulating on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the reestablishment of Armenia‘s Independence.
"This year we also mark the 30th anniversary of the mutual recognition and the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Armenia. During this period our countries have gone a long way and it is my strong belief that we will continue to develop and deepen our bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest", - wrote G. Landsbergis.
Foreign Minister also expressed Lithuania’s support for Armenia’s close cooperation with the European Union and implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) that provides solid framework for the reform agenda and modernisation. Lithuania stands ready to contribute to the development of democratic and secure Armenia.
