Lithuania participated in the European Film Festival in Armenia

On November 17-30, the Embassy of Lithuania in Armenia participated in the European Film Festival 2018, held in Yerevan, Gyumri and Dilijan. The Lithuanian film program included three films: the documentary film "Rūta" by R. Buožis and R. Darulis, the historical drama "Emilija. Breaking Free" by D. Ulvydas and L. Lužytė's film "Together For Ever".

During the festival, not only film screenings, but also other events - photography contest, seminars, master classes and quiz on the EU and its Member States took place. Lithuanian diplomat Jomantas Pabiržis was among the quiz team winners.

The European Film Festival 2018 was organized by the EU Delegation, the EUNIC Armenia cluster and the British Council in Armenia within the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.
