Lithuanian Ambassador in Armenia: Parliamentary diplomacy between Armenia and Lithuania plays a crucial role in bilateral relations
On 28 June, Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė met with the newly appointed Chairman of Armenia-Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia Friendship Group of the National Assembly of Armenia Arsen Torosyan.
Issues related to bilateral cooperation, Armenia's democratic reforms agenda and the situation in the region were discussed during the meeting.
Both sides also emphasized the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation in building bridges between Lithuanian and Armenian people, as well as the importance of EU-Armenia relations in the country's democratic reform agenda implementation.
Congratulating Arsen Torosyan for being appointed as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group, Ambassador also transmitted a congratulatory letter of the Chairman of Lithuania-Armenia Friendship Group of the Seimas of Lithuania Raimundas Lopata.
