Lithuanian Ambassador in Armenia: The role of civil society in the democratic reforms process is indispensable

On 27 October, Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė met with the Minister of Justice of Armenia Karen Andreasyan.

Bilateral cooperation in the field of justice, Armenia's agenda in the areas of judicial, constitutional, police, bailiffs reform, fight against corruption, as well as the role of civil society in this process were discussed during the meeting.

“It is crucial to ensure the inclusion of the democratic reforms process. In this respect, civil society plays an indispensable role in ensuring the long-term success of reforms”, - said I. Stanytė-Toločkienė.

The Ambassador also handed over a letter from Lithuanian Minister of Justice Evelina Dobrovolska to the Minister of Justice of Armenia, inviting him to visit Lithuania on behalf of the Minister.
