Lithuanian Ambassador met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia
On 28 February, Ambassador Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Hambardzum Matevosyan.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Lithuania and Armenia, Armenia's relations with the EU, the country's democratic reform agenda, and Lithuania's development cooperation priorities in Armenia were discussed. The security situation in the South Caucasus and the wider region was also discussed.
The parties also stressed the importance of further implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which entered into force on 1 March 2021, and discussed the activities of the Armenian-Lithuanian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
