Lithuanian Ambassador met with the President of the National Assembly of Armenia

On 12 November, Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė met with the President of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan. Existing and potential areas of bilateral cooperation, upcoming visits, country's relations with the European Union (EU), the Armenian democratic reform agenda, and the importance of inter-parliamentary bilateral cooperation were discussed during the meeting.

Both sides also stressed the importance of further implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which entered into force on 1 March 2021.

Lithuanian Ambassador also presented the situation on the Lithuanian-Belarusian border, and thanked for the support of Armenia by sending a Kurdish interpreter.
