Lithuanian books donated to Armenian libraries

February 19, the birthday of renowned Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan, is celebrated in Armenia as the Book Giving Day. On this occasion, Lithuanian Embassy has started a project aimed at presenting Lithuania's history, literature, culture through books donation to Armenian libraries, high education institutions and schools.

Sets of Lithuanian books have been gifted, via Anush Begloian, Head of Friendship Group Armenia-Lithuania, to the to the Library of the National Assembly, and via Rector prof. Gegham Gevorgyan to the Library of Yerevan State University.

This project is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Lithuanian-Armenian diplomatic relations.
