Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia
On January 21, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Mr. Linas Linkevičius congratulated newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Mr. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and reassured that Lithuania remains a staunch supporter of Armenia’s rapprochement with the European Union.
In his congratulations letter, the Lithuanian Foreign Minister highlights Lithuania's interest in closer relationship between the European Union and Armenia, expresses readiness to develop versatile cooperation between Lithuania and Armenia, also in implementing the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between the European Union and Armenia.
Z. Mnatsakanyan was appointed as Armenia’s Foreign Minister for the first time last May. He continue to serve as the country’s Foreign Minister following the early parliamentary elections in Armenia on 9 December 2018 and the formation of the new government.
