During the visit, the Prime Minister met with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.

Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė visited Yerevan, where she participated in the eighth European Political Community Summit, dedicated to strengthening European unity, security, and cooperation. During the visit, the Prime Minister met with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.

As Lithuania and Armenia mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year, the meeting focused on bilateral relations, Armenia’s cooperation with the European Union, and regional security. The Prime Minister noted that Lithuania is ready to strengthen cooperation with Armenia in various areas, including enhancing energy resilience and diversification, strengthening security in the context of cyber and hybrid threats, as well as developing economic and trade ties. Strong support was also expressed for the Armenia–Azerbaijan peace agreement and for EU initiatives aimed at strengthening stability in the region.

During the visit, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the memory of the Genocide victims and met with the Lithuanian community in Armenia.
