The Day of Freedom Defenders commemorated in the Embassy

On 13 January, the Embassy commemorated the Day of Freedom Defenders by lighting candles in the Embassy and planting a meadow of forget-me-nots.

On this day, 31 years ago, unarmed courageous Lithuanians stood up against the Soviet tanks, defending restored independence.

Determination of freedom-loving nation is stronger than any army.
