The Embassy of Lithuania in Armenia announces the selection for the position of clerk

The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Armenia announces the selection for the position of clerk.

The official salary coefficient is from 2.95.

Requirements:

  • have a higher college or university degree or equivalent;
  • Proficiency in English - at least at the level of advanced user level B2, in Armenian and Russian at least at the level of proficient user level C1;
  • be able to work with a computer (MS Office software package);
  • know the rules of clerical work, document management and accounting, preparation of legal acts, language culture;
  • be able to plan, organize one's activities, analytically evaluate and systematize information;
  • fluent presentation of ideas in writing and orally;
  • be familiar with legislation and international agreements governing consular activities;
  • not to question the credibility of the person.

Key features:

  • contributes to the performance of consular functions in accordance with the provisions of Articles 14-42 of the Consular Statute;
  • provides information to interested parties on consular issues, prepares consular information material, prepares answers to inquiries according to its competence;
  • answers the phone, manages calls;
  • receives visitors, consular documents, handles consular correspondence;
  • prepares consular documents, draft documents;
  • liaises with other institutions on consular matters in accordance with its competence;
  • translates consular documents;
  • forms consular file files, prepares a documentation plan and manages the archive;
  • maintains relations with the Lithuanian community according to its competence;
  • prepares consular documents to be sent by diplomatic mail and/or diplomatic cargo, handles consular documents received by diplomatic mail and/or diplomatic cargo;
  • performs other non-permanent official assignments of the Head of the Embassy.

Advantages:

  • experience of similar work in diplomatic missions of EU countries;
  • ability to work with computer programs for issuing visas and consular assistance;
  • ability to work in a team;
  • knowledge of the rules of diplomatic protocol.

A fixed-term employment contract will be concluded with the employee.
