The Embassy of Lithuania in Armenia announces the selection for the position of Secretary

The official salary coefficient is from 2.95.

 

Requirements:

 - have a college or higher university degree or equivalent;

 - proficiency in Armenian and Russian at least at the level of a proficient user level C1, English at a level of at least advanced user level B2;

 - be able to work with a computer (MS Office software package);

 - know the rules of clerical work, document management and accounting, drafting of legal acts, language culture;

 - be able to plan, organize one's activities, analytically evaluate and systematize information;

 - fluent presentation of ideas in writing and orally;

 - not to question the credibility of the person.

 

 Key features:

 - assists the head of the embassy or a assigned employee;

 - answers the phone, manages calls;

 - provides general information to interested parties by telephone, prepares answers to inquiries according to its competence;

 - corresponds with foreign diplomatic missions, other institutions, establishments and organizations in accordance with its competence;

- registers incoming and outgoing correspondence, copies and sends documents, handles protocol correspondence and performs other document management functions;

 - prepares letters, accompanying letters, notes and other documents or their drafts in accordance with its competence;

 - forms the files of the embassy documents, prepares the documentation plan and manages the archives;

 - monitors media reports, distributes embassy reports in the media;

 - disseminates information provided by institutions, establishments and companies of the Republic of Lithuania;

 - updates and publishes information on the embassy's website, in social media accounts;

 - performs translations;

 - compiles and regularly updates the contact list of the embassy;

 - assists in handling the sending and receiving of diplomatic mail and diplomatic cargo;

 - contributes to the organization and servicing of meetings, events, receptions, visits;

 - performs other non-permanent official duties of the Head of the Embassy.

 

 Advantages:

 - experience of similar work in diplomatic missions of EU countries;

 - knowledge of the Lithuanian language;

 - ability to work in a team;

 - knowledge of the rules of diplomatic protocol.

 

 A fixed-term employment contract will be concluded with the employee.

The interview with the selected candidates will take place by telephone, distance communication or by invitation to an interview to the embassy.

The intended start of work will be coordinated individually with the selected candidate.
