The Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan visited Lithuania

On 31 March - 1 April, during his visit to Lithuania, the Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan met with Lithuanian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs M. Adomėnas, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs K. Lančinskas, representatives of the President's Office, the Government Chancellery, the Ministry of National Defense and the Seimas. 

During the meetings, bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and Armenia, the country's democratic reform agenda, the security situation in the South Caucasus and the wider region, Russia's war in Ukraine and its impact on the region, and the importance of greater European Union engagement in the South Caucasus region were discussed. Representatives of Lithuania emphasized that Lithuania is ready to share its experience with Armenia.

During the visit, A. Grigoryan also participated in a closed discussion with the community of experts at the Eastern European Studies Centre.

A. Grigoryan was visiting Vilnius for the first time since assuming his duties in August 2021.
