The third meeting of the bilateral Armenian-Lithuanian intergovernmental commission was held in Vilnius
On 28 October, the third meeting of the bilateral Armenian-Lithuanian intergovernmental commission was held in Vilnius.
During the meeting, the sides agreed on closer cooperation in the areas of bilateral trade, investment, agriculture, digitalisation, high technology, transport, science, health care and others. The Minister of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania Aušrinė Armonaitė and the Minister of Health of Armenia Anahit Avanesyan signed a protocol strengthening bilateral cooperation.
Also during the meeting, a bilateral action plan in the field of agriculture was signed between the Ministry of Economy of Armenia and the Ministry of Agriculture of Lithuania, as well as a memorandum of understanding in the field of startups between the Lithuanian Innovation Agency and Startup Armenia.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Armenian delegation visited Vilnius University Life Sciences Center, where the delegation was received by LSC Director D. Matulis.
