Tribute run "Road of Life and Death" was organized in Armenia for the second time

On 15 January, the tribute run "Road of Life and Death" was organized in Armenia for the second time to commemorate the defenders of Lithuania's freedom – victims of the Soviet military crackdown of 13 January 1991 in Vilnius.

Lithuanian Embassy, its friends, members of Lithuanian community and representatives of other Embassies finished the distance of 9 km in Jrvezh Forest Park.

"This is Memory Day, but also Victory Day for Lithuanians. January 13 proved that faith in freedom can be stronger than tanks and empires, that light can and will overcome darkness", - said the Ambassador I. Stanytė-Toločkienė.
