Visit to the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant

On April 17 Minister Plenipotentiary of the Embassy Saulius Valainis and Third Secretary Maksim Davidiuk together with representatives of other Diplomatic Missions and the EU Delegation in Armenia visited the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant.

They got acquainted with the carried out modernization of power plants with the help of the European Union, the United States and other international donors, including improved safety, the project of extending the current period of operation of the second power block for another ten years and plans to build a new nuclear power plant on the basis of the current station.
